|An awkward question...

I have a question for everyone who has converted away from Christianity, or to Christianity, or in any way fundamentally changed their name/identity of the Divine.|
I am going down to Texas to see my parents this coming weekend. They don't know I've converted yet. I've never felt the desire to have that argument. I hope it won't be one, but I don't have much faith in that.
At any rate, my parents are trying this new policy of "agreeing to disagree." And they have a belief that if I don't say something, then I'm ashamed of whatever I'm not saying, as opposed to silence out of respect. Well, while I don't intend to go down to their house and say "Hi! I'm no longer Catholic!" I want to be prepared for it.
So, the question is: How did any of you explain to your parents that you no longer followed their identity of "God/G-d/Allah/etc"?
The conversation never came up. But, the weekend did give me some pathways to follow when it does. Thank you!!!
